Personality: Oxossi can be seen as a bit of a strange sort, to tell the truth. He is welcoming and pleasant to talk to, for the most part, and is willing to hold a conversation with nearly anyone who shows a desire for one. He is patient and forward thinking, always trying to promote positivity and progression to those around him as well as making sure that people who may be less fortunate than he want for little and rarely if ever suffer.

The image Oxossi cuts is more of a caregiver than a hunter, however appearances are more often than not extremely deceiving. While kind in conversation, Oxossi finds a deep pleasure in the art of hunting, of pitting his wit, power and skill up against that of another creature and seeing who will come out on top. This trait could have lead to certain...unsavory paths for him, but he was fortunate enough to be guided down the path of the most interesting and least morally polarizing prey: those who do harm to others.

Despite his kind demeanor, usually, Oxossi is a ruthless hunter that believes that those who find themselves the subject of his attentions must earn the right to live by being tested by his bow. He has no pity for those that fail, and utmost respect for those that pass, though anyone who takes the test is given the dignity of being seen as an equal...at least until the point where they prove themselves otherwise.

History: Oxossi's tale is one that may seem eerily familiar to some: he was the youngest of two children born to Zerin civilians, and lived a rather normal life. He was seen as a rather normal child, as well, though that changed when his father discovered a certain...proclivity Oxossi had for hunting small animals. It was less hunting, really, and more stalking them, grievously wounding them and then torturing them until they finally died only to keep the remains as a sort of trophy.

Needless to say, his parents were concerned with the actions of their young child. Saving grace came in the form of a member of their clan that had dabbled in bounty hunting, asserting to Oxossi's parents that they had two choices: try and repress his urge to hunt and risk making a monster that had no qualms about killing any and everyone or tailor his...unique mindset into something that resembled a healthy lifestyle.

His parents chose the latter and thus began Oxossi's training, learning how best to hunt and bring down the craftiest and possibly most dangerous prey in the wild: his fellow man. Oxossi spent years undergoing this training, which much to his parent's relief helped him become something akin to a normal human as much as personality and homicidal urges were concerned, and he has blossomed into a talented Bounty Hunter.
